BINA NUSANTARA (BINUS), founded in 1974 by Joseph Wibowo and Theresia Widia Soerjaningsih, is a world-class knowledge institution committed to delivering excellence in education, innovation, and research for the global community. 

The name BINA NUSANTARA helds the hope that this institution would be able to build and develop the whole Nusantara through education. That dream still lives on until this every day, “Becoming A World-class Knowledge Education”.

Serving over 164,000 students and partnering with 240+ universities in 41 countries, BINUS bridges education and industry through impactful programs like the Apple Developer Academy, BINUS Square, and BINUS ASO School of Engineering (BASE). 

BINUS UNIVERSITY (Indonesia) together with ASO College Group (Japan) established BINUS ASO School of Engineering (BASE). Two programs focused on advanced solutions for global industry are Product Design Engineering and Automotive Robotics Engineering. The BASE campus features interactive Japanese cultural environments and modern facilities to encourage independent and critical thinking among students.
